Update the Vote Rhode Island

Common Cause believes every eligible Rhode Islander should be able to cast a ballot. That’s why we’re working hard to modernize our elections.

We’ve already achieved the first part of our plan when Governor Raimondo signed online voter registration into law on April 6th. That will be available by the September statewide primary.

Next, we want real in-person early voting, like 33 other states. Call your state Representative or Senator and ask them to support  H 7248 and S 2358.

Tell the Board of Elections that you want to make sure every vote counts. Ask them to support H 7249 and S 2719 that ensure integrity in our elections and bring greater accountability to the Board of Elections.
