On November 13, 2014 at 4:30pm, Dean Michael Yelnosky, Roger Williams University School of Law, will moderate a panel discussion about Phil West’s new book, Secrets and Scandals: Reforming Rhode Island 1986-2006. Panelists include Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, Common Cause board member Nancy Rhodes, attorney and Common Cause board president Amy Goins, and Latino Public Radio chairman Dr. Pablo Rodriguez, with Phil West providing closing remarks. Co-sponsored by Common Cause RI and Roger Williams University School of Law, this event is free and open to the public with a reception and book signing to follow. 44th ANNUAL MEETING of COMMON CAUSE RI
On October 15, 2014, Common Cause RI will hold it’s 44th Annual Meeting. The Business Meeting, including elections to the state Governing Board, will begin at 4:30pm. Cocktails, Registration, Silent Auction, and Phil West Book Sale and Signing will begin at 5:00pm. Dinner and awards will begin at 6:00pm. Our program, which is TBD, will begin at 7:00pm.
